My name is Jason Price and I am a Crown Money Map Coach trained by Crown Financial Ministries.  I assist people in setting up a spending plan or budget and help them learn how to honor the Lord with their finances.  I work with married couples and individuals as a volunteer.  Yes, that means my services are FREE to you!

 Coaching Initiation Process

  1. Complete the Money Map Coach request form.
  2. I will contact you within 24 hours to learn more about your situation and schedule the first in-person meeting.
  3. Complete the information request before the first in-person meeting and bring the information with you.  Note: the information request will be discussed during the initial phone call. 

FAQs

  • Are you employed by Crown Financial Ministries?  No, I was trained by Crown and use their resources in my coaching.
  • What is a coaching participant? A coaching participant is someone participating in the Money Map Coaching program.
  • What is expected of the coaching participant. The Money Map Coach provides guidance and counsel using practical tools and scripture. The participant(s) is expected to take ownership of their finances by following steps to create a spending plan, track spending and perform weekly homework studying God’s word on money.
  • How long are the in-person meetings?  The first meeting is typically 2 hours.  Sub-sequential meetings are usually 1 – 1.5 hours depending on the situation.
  • How many in-person meetings are conducted?  The amount of meetings is completely up to the coaching participant.
  • Where is the meeting place?  I conduct all of my meetings in the privacy of a conference room at the Frisco Public Library.
  • Can I meet you without my spouse?  This is generally not a good approach unless there are unique circumstances preventing you meeting together.  Managing personal finances should involve both the husband and wife.

  • The new credit card law went into effect today (2/22/10).  There are some steps you can take to hold your bank to the new credit card laws if they don’t follow them.

  • Most people think about retirement planning requiring financial precision and focus.  However, the non financial issues of retirement, as discussed, by Walter Updegrave at CNNMoney.com, are important too!  I think this article echos the importance of understanding your purpose and building retirement work years around it.

  • Credit card companies are putting together new DIY cards as a result of new credit card laws.  But, does the ability to pick and choose different features really benefit the customer?  Make sure you read the fine print because there are trade-offs and the card companies are still in control.
