Announcements

Well you might have experienced issues if you visited OMD in the past few days.  If so, I thought I would write a quick post to let you know everything is operational again!  Woo hoo!

I don’t want to bore you with all the details, but in short, I had a web hosting problem occur this week.  For the last several nights I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the issue as well as making a final decision to move OMD over to a new web host.

Thankfully, moving has proven to be a wise decision.  I’m already amazed at how much faster OMD is today!  So, I hope this move improves your experience when reading articles and browsing through the blog.

Now, on with better things…

Obviously, my posting schedule got off-track this week, but not to worry as I have some exciting things coming for you.  Last week I mentioned on Twitter I had a special announcement.  Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get that information out given my recent problems.

Therefore, this Friday, I’m making the announcement right here and on Twitter.  Sorry to keep you waiting, but if you’re a regular reader, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.  Stay tuned (just a few more days)!

Now, I’m off to continue on with some administrative things to finalize the move to the new web host, catch up on articles and get some REST! :)

  • I recently posted some tips to save money on your cell phone bill which got a lot of attention in the comments section.  I suppose people are always looking to save money on cell phones since everyone has one these days.  One tip commonly mentioned in the comments was using Net10′s prepaid cell phones.  I haven’t hadn’t heard of Net10, but seems a lot of people are using them these days.  Do you have any experience with Net10?  This seems like a great approach for teens, or even those who have problems using more minutes than their plan allows each month.  What do you think?
