Managing Your Money Wisely – Defined

I was sitting with my four year old daughter making light hearted conversation this evening in my study.  I showed her the One Money Design website and said “it’s all about managing your money wisely for everyday living (just making talk).”  To my surprise she asked, “what does that mean, daddy?”

Ah, the start of a blog post which is dedicated to my daughter, Ava.

What does managing money wisely mean to you?

For me, it’s simply defined as…

  • Someone who understands what it means to be a financial steward and let’s that principle guide them in managing their finances.
  • One who avoids slavery from debt and positions themselves to become debt free.
  • A person who has a spending plan to guide their decisions and keep them on track towards their goals.

Managing money wisely, although requiring commitment and work, is the road to financial peace.
